I thought everyone visiting would be interested in this story from Science@NASA: NASA-supported scientists and engineers have successfully tested a methane-powered rocket engine. At one time a LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) vehicle held the land speed record. The Blue Flame is now in Germany at the Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum. Blue Flame used Hydrogen Peroxide as an oxidizer.
