The purpose of this Blog is to post a consolidated list of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Alternative Fuel Vehicles for sale on various sites in the United States. This is for USA sales only! Site will be updated weekly except for E-bay entries which will be updated daily. I troll Auto Trader, and E-bay for what is available and will post such items here. Parts for CNG systems purchased from E-Bay or any source should be installed ONLY by a CNG certified mechanic! These are high pressure systems and any mistake in installation could lead to severe injury or death, not to mention the loss of your vehicle. Only a qualified mechanic should only attempt a CNG conversion and such a conversion should be inspected by qualified CNG inspector.
Tanks should be inspected as well. Bad tanks can explode at 3600 psi and the high pressure gas exiting these tanks can and HAVE killed. While the newer composite tanks have reduced shrapnel from the tanks, there is also the possibility of that occouring as well. One should only use a good tank, recently inspected, and with a good experation date. Tanks should NEVER be used past their expiration date.
